Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs

This is a very funny book and has a lot of adventures in it. This book is about a guy who wants to be a famous scientist and invents all kinds of things but each thing he makes always has a problem!

The whole city is stuck eating disgusting sardines for every meal and Flint wants to fix that. So he builds a machine that turns water into food and one day the machine got out of control and flew up into the sky! Then Flint saw a girl named Sam Sparks and she tried to be a weather girl but everything went wrong.

So then Flint made a radar device that could give him access to the machine and started to make it rain food! The whole town loved it except when everything went out of control and was ruining everything. So Flint, Sam, Manny, and Baby Brent made a plan and tried to make it work when everything goes crazy!

What will Flint do?

If you've read this book, how would you rate it?

  1. A refresher on Pinpoint? You mean, what it's about? Well, here is the query pitch that got me my agent:

Psychical research scientists rescue an unusual 17-year old girl from a mental asylum. She expects to be used in their studies, but, grateful to escape her former circumstances, she’ll do almost anything to stay with them. However, the Bradfords crave a daughter more than a test subject. They change her name to Evie Strong to conceal her past and offer her a home more comfortable than any she’s ever known. When Evie discovers her unique talents give her an edge in their research, she willingly involves herself in their investigations. Harvard drop-out Madison Hodge, the Society’s hired investigator, is impressed by Evie’s debunking skills, and she’s irresistibly attracted to him despite his scandalous past and the disapproval of her guardians. When a team member tragically dies, Evie and Hodge turn a séance on its head to reveal that it was no accident. However, by involving herself, Evie risks the discovery of her true story and the chance her life might go up in flames … again.

How's that? BTW, it's currently titled Strange Truths. Yeah ... I know it's not a great title. Open to suggestions!

Any Bookworms Out There?

I don't know about you, but I love to read! I'm an 11 year-old bookworm! As a matter of fact being a bookworm sometimes gets me in trouble. Like when I am reading instead of getting ready for school, going to bed, or listening to what my mom is saying to me.

If this sounds like you, join me and other Bookworms on this blog. We can share comments, recommend books to each other, and just have fun!
